Hansen Botanics is committed to collective action. Through our partnership with Ecologi, we fund global reforestation and water security projects with profits from every single order placed through our Apothecary store. So far, we have collectively planted over 100 mangrove trees in Madagascar, where Ecologi are working to restore the coastline and protect marine life. We have also funded forest garden projects in Uganda, where farmers are not only able to feed themselves year round from their forest garden crops, but earn an income from selling their excess fruits and vegetables. We've also funded avocado, lemon and papaya tree growing for communities in Kenya, providing a valuable food source for the locals that reside there. I am deeply passionate about this work, and I truly believe we are only really healing when we are working to heal not just ourselves, but each other and Mother Earth.
